Robert Lee Stevenson

Robert Lee Stevenson, 92, Falls Mills, VA, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. 

Born on December 3, 1932 in Pocahontas, VA, he was a son of the late Clarence and Lena Mae Lowry Stephenson.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict and was retired from Shaw Wallpaper and Paint Company. He was a member of the local union 1100 for 39 years in Norfolk, VA.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Stevenson.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah (George) Revels of Williamston, NC; sons, Ronnie (Ann) Stevenson of Virginia Beach, VA and Robin (Donna) Stevenson of Chesapeake, VA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Joe (Sandra) Stephenson of Nemours and Ralph Stephenson of Princeton, WV; and sisters, Pauline Baumgartner of SC and Rachel Hillard of Bluefield, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA, where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
