Robert M. (Binky) England, Jr., 54 of Bluefield, WV passed away on February 13, 2022, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Surrounded by his family, Binky bravely fought his final fight and went to his heavenly home. If you had the pleasure to be loved by Binky, you were blessed. No matter what was going on in his life or how much pain he was in, he always lit up the room and left you with a smile. He was our miracle, always so courageous and he never gave up.
He served 3 years In the United States Army and worked as a merchandiser for Coca Cola Bottling Company for 17 years, prior to an accident that led to his disability.
Binky was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. (Bobby) England, Sr., brother, William (Billy) England, maternal grandparents, William (Bill) and Anna Mae Hensley. Paternal grandparents, William and Hallie England.
Left to carry on his legacy are his loving wife of 17 years, Sheri Stephens England, his sweet Momma, Alma Dean England, mother-n-law, Amanda Clevinger, sister, DeAnna (Kenneth Stamper) Edwards. Sister-n-law, Lisa (Doug) Neal. His three children, Courtney (Larry) Hall, Tyler (Chelsea) England and Darin (Lindsey) Jones.
Binky’s greatest blessings were his grand babies, which knew him as “Poppy”. They are Tre Hall, Desiree, Layla and Gunner England and Kaiden Jones. He also leaves behind an “adopted" sister Kimberly (Mark) Singleton. His cherished nieces and nephews, Micah Edwards, Anna Edwards, Kenneth O. Stamper, Kelli (John Embrescia) Neal, Kyle (Kristin) Neal, Summer, Zachery and Amber Singleton. He was blessed with amazing friends, like T.J. and Robin Johnson, Jimmy and Stephanie Curran, Doug and Kim Miller, Mike and Diane East, Garland and Ashley Darago and Eugene Penland and Mischa Holland.
Binky also had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Binky always had a kind word, compliment or a smile for anyone he met. His charisma and strength were contagious, and you always felt honored to be in his company. Binky was loved as deeply as the love he gave, and he will be missed greatly.
Pastor and friend, from Freedom Worship Ministries will be conducting his funeral on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Military graveside rights will be at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
Pallbearers will be his sons, Tyler England and Darin Jones, cousins, David Branscome, Rusty Simpson, Bernie Simpson and William (Scooter) Hensley.
