Robert Lee Cameresi, Sr., affectionately known as Bob, was born on May 24, 1939 and departed this life on December 24, 2024 in Fairfax, Virginia. Bob lived a life characterized by kindness, hard work and with deep love for his family. He devoted 59 1/2 years to being a Milkman, many of those years at Shenandoah’s Pride in Springfield, VA which later became Lehigh Valley Dairy. Being a career Milkman allowed him to serve his community while forging lasting relationships with those he encountered along the way.
Bob is remembered fondly for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. He had a passion for spending time with his family, relishing every moment shared with loved ones. Outside of work, his interests included golfing, fishing and any pursuit that reflected his enjoyment of the great outdoors and connection with family and friends.
He leaves behind his beloved family, including his sons, Robert Cameresi Jr. and Randy Cameresi; and his cherished grandchildren: Emily, Joey, Treasure, Everleigh and Bodhi Cameresi. Additionally, he was a proud great-grandfather to Harmony McDowell. Bob is survived by his sister, Evaline Short, Daughter in law Patty Cameresi and nieces and nephew, Kim Smith, Brenda Walker, and Chris Cameresi.
Bob joins in eternal rest with his parents, Carlo and Minnie Mae Cameresi, and his wife, Macil Cameresi. He is also preceded in death by his siblings: Luigi, Pansy, Edith, Ray, Nellie, Josephine, Joseph, Angelo, and Jim Roger.
