Robert Allen Barnes

Robert “Bob” Allen Barnes, 85, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Glenwood Healthcare Center.

Born September 15, 1939 in Berwind, WV, he was a son of the late Frank and Sylvia Sexton Barnes. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired Mine Equipment salesman.

Those left to cherish Bob’s memory are his wife, Kim Prevento Misak Barnes of the home; step-daughter, Amanda Misak Rice and husband, Brooks Rice; children, Sherry Lynn Barnes of Bluefield, WV, Tim Barnes of Winston-Salem, NC, Whitney Barnes of Morgantown, WV; Siblings, Shelby Case of Chillicothe, OH, Donnie Barnes of Morgantown, WV; and grandchildren, Madison and Hampton of Charlotte, NC.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services. Interment of Cremains will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
