Richard Ray Woolridge

Richard Ray Woolridge, 47, of Skygusty, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at University Medical Center in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Richard was born on Friday, July 07, 1972 in Bluefield, West Virginia to James C. Woolridge, Sr. of Premier, West Virginia and Linda Hubble Woolridge of Skygusty, West Virginia. He had been a resident of Skygusty for the past five years. He attended the First Church of God and was a graduate of Mt. View High School; he was a former Correction Officer at Stephen Correctional in Welch, West Virginia and was also a former employee of Keystone Hardware.
Richard was preceded in death by one daughter Kayla Marie Woolridge
Left to cherish Richards memories are his parent’s father: James C. Woolridge, Sr., of Premier, West Virginia and mother Linda Hubble Woolridge of Skygusty, West Virginia; one son Shawn Woolridge of Northfork, West Virginia; one daughter Kristen Woolridge of Burke Mountain, West Virginia; two brothers Marty Woolridge and wife Amanda of Bluefield, Virginia and Bo Woolridge aand wife Michelle of Kingston, North Carolina and one special uncle Pete Woolridge and wife Shirley of Skygusty, West Virginia.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Martin West officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, West Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
The Woolridge family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
