Richard Eugene "String" Muncy, Formerly of McDowell County, A resident of Wright's Valley Road Bluefield, Va, For 27 years went to be with the Lord on Aug 30 2017 After a long term illness. Eugene was proceeded in death by his parents William Richard Muncy and Sarah Belle Puckett of Welch wv, And special nephew Derek Thacker of Pulaski, Va, And several Aunts and Uncles. Eugene is survived by 3 Daughters, Melony Burke and husband Lewis of Gary wv, Sarah Jennings and husband Robert of Kegley, Valerie Price and husband Tom of Greenvalley Wv. 3 sisters, Anna Becca of Newton NC, Linda Michelle and husband JR of Pulaski Va, and Joy Bowles and husband Randy of Oceana Wv, 2 Brothers Anthony Muncy and wife Becky of Hickory NC, and Joseph Muncy of Pulaski Va. 5 Grandchildren Tyler Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Thomas Price, Isabella Price, and Robert Jennings Jr. And several Nieces And Nephew's. A special Friend Gerald Baker and wife Janie of Ceres Wv. And also a special thanks to Eugene's Hospice Team. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
