Rhonda Diane Simpson

Rhonda Diane Simpson, 47, of Montcalm, West Virginia passed away on Friday, September 06, 2019 at WVU - Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

Rhonda was born on March 31, 1972 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Judy Dyson and the late Jerry L. Clower. 

Rhonda attended Montcalm High School, and later got her GED. She had been a lifetime resident of Montcalm where she attended the Montcalm Church of God. She was a graduate of Little French Beauty Academy in Bluefield,  and attended National Business College in Bluefield, Virginia. Rhonda was an avid animal lover. 

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Simpson, sister Tonda Jennelle, as well as mother and father in law, Bill and Della Simpson.

She is survived by her mother and father Judy and Lawrence Dyson of Montcalm; Children; Shawn Simpson and wife Jennifer of Bluefield, Dustin Simpson and wife Alyssa of Montcalm, Justin Simpson and fiance’ Ana Freeman of Princeton, Cheyanne Simpson of Montcalm.  Eight grandchildren, Steven, Brookelynn, Kylian, Mason, Kaylee, Levi, Sophia and Caleb Simpson. Three brothers, Jerry Clower Jr. and wife Karen of Rock, Willie Irvin and wife Cindy of Abbs Valley, and. Willie Dyson and wife Chandra of Bluewell. Sisters, Donna “Angel” Hanlin and husband Gary Bandy of Bluewell, and Julie Dyson-Taylor of North Carolina. She is also survived by a host of nine nieces and six nephews and many aunts and uncles. As well as fiance’ Mike White. 

The Simpson family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia.
