Rev. Randy Davis

Rev. Randy Eugene Davis, 68, of Rock, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Born on August 26, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Duane Randolph and Ramona Rosaline Clark Davis. He had been a lifelong resident of Rock and was a graduate of Matoaka High School. He was a member and retired pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in Lashmeet. He was also a former coal miner and electrician for 39 years.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lee Davis; 2 brothers, Thomas Davis and Roger Davis, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Darlene Clark Davis, of the home; a son, Joshua Alexander Davis of Rock, WV; daughters, Melissa June (Wesley) Stacy of Princeton, and Angela Darlene (James) Cecil of Princeton, WV; 6 grandchildren, Eden Boswell, Ryan Bowles, Gabrielle Cecil, Autumn Bowles, Grayson Cecil and a bonus grandson Logan Stacy; great-grandchildren, Ariel, Bentley and Stella Boswell; brothers, Roger Davis of Rock, WV, and Steve (Patty) Davis of Princeton; sisters, Joan (Wayne) Williams and Joy (Frank) Reynolds of Lashmeet.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor James Cecil officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery on Wright Mountain in Rock with Steve Davis, James Cecil, Wesley Stacy, Joshua Davis, Grayson Cecil, Frank Reynolds, Wayne Williams, Gabrielle Cecil, Autumn Bowles and Logan Stacy will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.

The family is requesting that COVID-19 protocols be followed and masks worn.
