Rev. Larry Elbert Parks, 75, of Beeson Road, Lashmeet, WV, went to his Heavenly home Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his home.
Born on May 29, 1943 in Eckman, he was a son of the late William Harvey and Edith Victoria Comer Parks. He had been a resident of Lashmeet for 20 years and was a retired truck driver and minister. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William (Bill) Parks, Michael Parks, Steve Parks, and Tim Parks.

Phyllis Sporing and Jim of Woodbridge, VA
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins
Special Friends: Alfred Beggs and Junior Reed
Loving dog and companion, “Kyerra”
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Richard Konichek officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family
