Raymond Lee Dancy

Raymond Lee Dancy, 57, of Bluefield, VA, passed Monday, February 24, 2025, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. 

Born June 6, 1967, in Goochland County, VA, her was the son of the late Morris and Louise Myers Evans. Raymond worked many years as a truck driver. 

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kathy Abel. 

Those left to cherish Raymond's memory are his wife, Anna Mullin Dancy of the home; daughter, Jessica Beck and husband Christopher, of Bluefield, VA; sisters, Patricia Estep of Bluefield, WV, Susie Perkins of Tazewell, VA, and Bertha Ealy of Pocahontas, VA; mother-in-law, Ethel Ward of Bluefield, VA; brothers-in-law, Brian Mullin of Green Valley, WV, and Allen Abel of Bland, VA; and three grandchildren, Cameran, Khole, and Harleigh. 

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
