Phillip Christian Dillon

Phillip Christian Dillon, 69, of Kimball, WV, passed Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.

Born April 6, 1954, in Gary, WV, he was a son of the late Herman and Opal Christian Dillon. Phillip had been a resident of the Kimball area since 1979 and was a retired coal miner. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teri Marlene Dillon, and sister, Sandra Horne.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher P. Dillon and wife Daisy of Ashtabula, OH; brothers, Andrew Dillon of Gilbert, WV, and Nelson Dillon of Free Union, VA; sisters, Kathlene Dillon of Burke, VA and Patricia Woolfrey of Spotsylvania, VA; and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Cassandra Dillon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Minister Rick Mathena officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call an hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
