Peggy Irene Burton

Peggy Irene Burton, 60, of Rockwood Road Bluefield, West Virginia left this world to join the LORD on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her residence.
Peggy was born on June 15, 1957 in Bluewell, West Virginia to the late Otis and Ola Mae Thompson. Peggy had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield.
She leaves behind her husband, Phillip Wade Burton of the home; three children Tracy Conley and husband Jon on Columbus, Ohio; Brandye Burton of Bramwell, West Virginia and Andrew W. Burton of the home. Three granddaughters Makayla and Victoria Rodriguez and Destiny Conley. She is also survived by one sister Carolyn Gibson and husband Elbert of Bluefield; four brother’s Cliff Thompson of Bluefield; Kenny Thompson of Pennsylvania; Tommy Thompson and wife Sharon of Princeton and Larry Thompson and wife Sharon of North Carolina.
Peggy wanted to say Thank You to everyone for their generosity, prayers and help throughout her illness.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Douglas Brown and Otis Clifford Thompson III officiating her service.
The Burton family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
