Patty Sue Dillon

Patty Sue Bennett Dillon, 68, of Carolina Avenue, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at her home.

Born on January 30, 1954, in Princeton, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Frances Gadd Bennett. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Richard L. Dillon, Sr. of the home sons, Richard L. Dillon, Jr. of Bluefield, WV, and Wade Dillon of Bluefield, VA; daughters, Kathy Phillips of Christiansburg, VA, Mary Mitchem of Bluefield, WV, Dorothy Duncan of Bluefield, WV, Mable Bradley of Bandy, VA; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a brother, Frankie Bennett of Bluefield, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Daniel Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA where Wade Dillon, Daniel Bradley, Matthew Bradley, Michael Bradley, Clinton Dillon, Christopher Puckett, and Richard Dillon will serve as pallbearers. Donald & CJ Dillon and Cass Mitchem will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Tuesday, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
