Patty Burks Dalton

Patty Burks Dalton, 69, of Crumpler, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 06, 2019 at her residence.

Patty was born on January 03, 1950 in Crumpler, West Virginia to the late Willard and Masie Hall Burks. Patty had been a resident of Crumpler for the past 48 years and was a member of the Elkhorn Baptist Church. Patty was a Godly woman, a wonderful wife and amazing mother. She loved to pack a picnic and spend the day riding in the mountains with Frankie.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Frankie Dalton of the home; two sons, Frankie “Jody” Dalton, Jr and wife Roxanna of Princeton, West Virginia; Johnny Dalton of North Carolina; one daughter, Kimberly Rotenberry and husband Terry of North Carolina. Five sisters, Fran Watkins of Bluewell, West Virginia, Brenda Watkins and husband Cecil of Bluewell, West Virginia, Betty Renner and husband Jim of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dixie Belcher and husband Sonny of Bluewell, West Virginia and Kathy Harris and husband Ron of Athens, West Virginia. Grandchildren, Ethan Rotenberry and wife Julie, Cody Rotenberry and wife Hanna, Ericka, Hunter, Hayden and Allyssa Dalton, Eli Dalton and Trevor Brown. Three great grandchildren, Jameson, Ava and Paxton Rotenberry.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 09, 2019 at 11:00am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell (Bluefield), West Virginia with Ministers Roger Walker and Lonnie Mullins officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where Ethan Rotenberry, Cody Rotenberry, Hunter Dalton, Hayden Dalton, Timmy Watkins and Mike Belcher will be serving as pallbearers.

The Dalton will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, October 09, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home.
