Pansy Marie Vest

Pansy Marie Vest, 70, of Matoaka Road, Rock, WV, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA. Born on January 5, 1947 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Violet Marie Roark Taylor. She had been a resident of Rock for 8 years and was a former employee of Frankie’s LaSalute in Bluewell. She attended the Shawnee Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sammy Semenski. Survivors include: Husband: Perry Vest of the home Stepson:              Perry Vest, Jr.  and wife Tammy of Kegley 7 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren 3 step-daughters:            Frances Walker and husband Cody of Lashmeet                                                 Terri Burkhart of MO                                                 Joyce Burress of NJ 6 brothers:          Ralph Taylor of McComas                                 Robert Taylor and wife Susan of Princeton                                 Jack Taylor and wife Freda of McComas                                 Raymond Taylor and wife Frances of Bluefield                                 Perry Taylor and wife Cordie of McComas                                 Johnny Taylor of Bluewell and special friend and nurse at Westwood Rhonda Jones Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dewayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where her brothers will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
