Pansy Mae Branham

Bluefield, VA- Pansy Mae “Granny” Howell Branham, 87 of Double Gates, Bluefield, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday November 11, 2017 at a Bluefield Hospital. Born February 16, 1930 in Princeton, WV she was a daughter of the late Arthur Q. and Agnes Blevins Howell. Pansy was a long-time, loyal, and devoted member of the Community Baptist Church and had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 58 years. She held a B.S. degree in Biology from Concord College in 1952, was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She worked at St. Luke’s Hospital for 26 years as a Lab Technician and Chief Lab Technician.      In addition to her parents Pansy was preceded in death by; two brothers, Charles F. Howell and Arthur Q. Howell, Jr., a sister, Virginia Ruth Conley, one grandchild, and twin great-grandchildren: Thomas and Kathryn Adams.     Survivors include; her husband of 63 years, Richard Thomas Branham of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Thomas Branham and wife Teresa of Bluefield, WV, Michael W. Branham and wife Lori A. of Lebanon, VA,; three grandchildren Krista Branham and fiancé Justin Adams, Jeremy Branham and wife Heather, and Heath Branham and wife Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Jasen and Aiden Branham.     In keeping with her wishes there will be a graveside service for family and friends. The services will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Pastor Ken Owens officiating Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Roselawn Mausoleum at the service time.     Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com.
