Bluefield, VA- Pansy Mae “Granny” Howell Branham, 87 of Double Gates, Bluefield, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday November 11, 2017 at a Bluefield Hospital. Born February 16, 1930 in Princeton, WV she was a daughter of the late Arthur Q. and Agnes Blevins Howell. Pansy was a long-time, loyal, and devoted member of the Community Baptist Church and had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 58 years. She held a B.S. degree in Biology from Concord College in 1952, was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She worked at St. Luke’s Hospital for 26 years as a Lab Technician and Chief Lab Technician. In addition to her parents Pansy was preceded in death by; two brothers, Charles F. Howell and Arthur Q. Howell, Jr., a sister, Virginia Ruth Conley, one grandchild, and twin great-grandchildren: Thomas and Kathryn Adams. Survivors include; her husband of 63 years, Richard Thomas Branham of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Thomas Branham and wife Teresa of Bluefield, WV, Michael W. Branham and wife Lori A. of Lebanon, VA,; three grandchildren Krista Branham and fiancé Justin Adams, Jeremy Branham and wife Heather, and Heath Branham and wife Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Jasen and Aiden Branham. In keeping with her wishes there will be a graveside service for family and friends. The services will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Pastor Ken Owens officiating Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Roselawn Mausoleum at the service time.
