Pamela Sue Sarver, 63, of Bluefield, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Born October 26, 1959, in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of William Reed Levitt and Shirley Louise Levitt. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Dannie Sarver, Sr.; brother-in-laws, Terry Sarver, Sr. and Benny Horsely; and nephews, Branden Levitt and Michael Sarver.
In addition to her parents those left to cherish Pam’s memory are her devoted husband of 46 years, Dannie Frank Sarver, Jr. of Bluefield, WV; son, William Adam Sarver and wife Melonie of Princeton, WV; brother, Victor Levitt and wife Marie of Falls Mills, VA; sister-in-laws, Tammy Horsely of Penhook, VA and Kerri Sarver Parris of Bluefield, WV; and grandchildren, Kailey, Addisyn, Adaline, and Bennett of Princeton, WV.
Pam was a graduate of Bluefield High School, Bluefield State College, and received her Masters Degree from Mountain State University. She spent her professional career working at Brown, Edwards, & Company as a C.P.A. & Audit Manager; Bluefield College as the Vice President of Administration & Finance; and at First Community Bank as the Internal Audit Director. She also volunteered and served in her lifetime with Mercer County Bible in the Schools and the Abel Pregnancy Resource Center.
Pam loved the Lord and served him her entire life. She was a devout Christian and beloved member of Maple View Church of Christ. She spent her childhood and early-adulthood as a member of Midway Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and church family more than anything. She especially loved her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who affectionately referred to her as “P-maw.” She enjoyed traveling with her husband and various friends. Pam’s happy place was North Myrtle Beach, where she loved spending time with her family and friends and waking up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrises.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Princeton Health Care Center, who provided for her care during the last 10 months of her life.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Maple View Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 with ministers Tony Reed, Buddy Goins, and Jeremiah Holcomb officiating.
Interment will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the church at 10:30 AM. Keith Harman, Bob Hoge, Keith Abel, Ron Steele, Mark Catron, Scott Poole, Buddy Goins, and Aaron Sarver will serve as pallbearers. Bennett Bowers will serve as junior pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pam’s honor to the Bluefield Union Mission, 2203 Bluefield Ave, Bluefield, WV 24701.
