Pamela Kay Belcher “KayKay”, was born January 23, 1954 and departed this earth to fulfill her heavenly destiny and be united be with her true love, Ernie Ray Belcher. She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. KayKay retired from the Mercer County Board of Education where she was employed as a cook for many years. KayKay was a dedicated children’s church teacher at her home church of Deliverance Temple where she instilled the knowledge of God throughout so many. She also attended Penecostal church of Praise. She was beautiful inside and out and would always make sure she prayed for everyone around her.
Kaykay is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Beatrice Brown, her brother, Michael Brown, and most recently her sister Angie “Aggie” Tucker of Florida.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved children, son Gannon and wife Jennifer Belcher of Rock, West Virginia, Daughter Wendy and husband Jared Barger of Rock, West Virginia; her grandchildren: Jared Levi and wife Katie, Hannah, Olivia, Sabrina and Brandon, Jacob, Jaden and husband Brian Alex, Riley, Amanda and husband Evan, and Tyler and wife Summer. Her great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Rayleigh, Axel, Sawyer, Reinlee, Elli. She also leaves behind her wonderful sisters: Dianna Martin of Princeton, Jinny Brown of Bluefield, Regina Proffitt of Sevierville, Tennessee, Margaret Pigg and husband Ronald of Rock, Tina Brown of Bluewell, Sherry Brown of Sandlick, and Anita Sylvester-Belcher of Rock. Special friends: Danny and Beth Hicks, Gloria, Naomi, and Robin. She will always be known for her unwavering faith; no matter the circumstances she would always call out to God on behalf of her family. She will forever be known as our “prayer warrior,” and for that we will be forever grateful!!
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork. Visitation will begin at 3:00 and conclude at 4:00. The service will begin at 4:00 with Pastor David Kirby officiating.
Serving as Pallbearers are Hunter Ingraham, Jared Belcher, Tyler Pigg, Wayne Bailey, Evan Gills, Timmy Belcher. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Lambert, Noah Belcher.
