Nina Louise Coppola

Nina Louise Coppola, 83, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the arms of her family. She was born on January 16, 1942, on Burke Mountain in McDowell County, WV, to the late Frank Taylor and Zell (Byars) Taylor.

Nina was known as a quiet, hardworking lady who devoted her life to the care of her family and neighbors. She was her husband's loyal wife and business partner, establishing Coppola's Trailer Park.

To her children, she was an excellent mother, who modeled the importance of treating others well, being responsible, and doing good work. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her prized treasures. She was happiest when they were with her.

Nina's hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She also enjoyed creating a beautiful yard and gardening. An avid reader, she rose early most mornings to enjoy a few chapters with a hot coffee before starting her busy days.

Nina's life exemplified genuine care and concern for anyone who was enduring hardship, especially young mothers with children. She cared for the children of many working parents and gave generously to many programs supporting children in need.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her brothers, Tim and Joe Taylor. Those left to cherish her memory include husband, William Coppola, children, Terry Bailey (Gary), Sheri Harsanyi (Steve), and John Coppola (Betsy); grandchildren, Wesley Ann Inghram (Scott) Susan Terry (Chris), Hannah Bailey, Josiah Bailey, Kyle Harsanyi (Jess), Cameron Coppola (Candice), and William Coppola (Samantha); sisters, Barbara Herbrand, Tammy Pazmino; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
