Nicky Joe Gilley

Nicky Joe Gilley, 35, of Bluefield, WV, born April 22, 1987, went home to be with Jesus on March 29, 2023. Nicky was the son of Sherri Taylor and Terry Gilley and daddy Edward Taylor and stepmother Paggy Gilley.

Nicky is survived by his fiancé, Kimberly Coalson; sister, Stephanie Kinser and husband Glen Stevenson; brothers, Terry Gilley and wife Amy, Frank Taylor and fiancé Stephanie Asbury, Joshua Chojnacki and wife Crystal of Lincoln County, Eddie Chojnacki of Hamilton, WV, and Jonathan Chojnacki and wife Jennifer of Princeton, WV; children, Nicolas, Ryan, Judd, J-lesa, Kalee, and Destiny; step-son, Lukus Clower; special nieces and nephew, Brooklyn Parsons, Scarlet Rowe, and Trevor Taylor all of Princeton, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Nicky was the life of the party and loved by many. He was a hard worker, loving son, brother, and father. He was a wonderful person.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Johnny Powell officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
