Nellie Eugenia Law

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Nellie Eugenia Webb Law on November 25, 2024, at the age of 96. Nellie was born on March 8, 1928, in McComas, West Virginia, to Albert and Elsie Webb. 

Nellie married the love of her life, George O. Law, on October 1, 1943, and was married for 66 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and always greeted everyone with a smile and a Hello or Thank You darling. She was a faithful and dedicated servant in the Church (Voice of Praise) for several years: teaching Sunday School, playing the organ and piano, singing in the choir, and preparing the financials as Church Secretary. She currently attends Princeton First Assembly of God Church in Princeton, West Virginia. 

Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother and Father, Albert and Elsie Webb, Husband, George O. Law, Brother, Everett Webb, Sisters, Evelyn Gillenwater and Laura Hodges. 

She is survived by her daughter – Sandra Layne Law Perry of Bluefield, West Virgina, Granddaughters, Kirstin Noel Langton Chmara of Bluefield, West Virginia and Holly Langton Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, Great Granddaughter Crystal Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brothers, Vester Webb (spouse Laura Webb) of Bastian, Virginia, Bayne Webb (spouse Judy Webb) of Newark, Delaware, and Justin Webb of New Castle, Delaware, and Sisters, Christine Flowers of Williamstown, West Virginia and Jeanette Whitley (spouse Lonnie Whitley) of Bristol, Virgina and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Visitation from 12:00 - 2:00. Service at 2:00. Pastor Dan Moore of Princeton First Assembly of God Church will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
