Nannie Hunley

Nannie Lorraine Hunley, age 81, of Jenkinjones, WV, died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born on May 31, 1939 in Wilcoe Hollow, she was a daughter of the late George and Evelyn Harman Rose. She had lived in Jenkinjones for the past 23 years and was a member of the Havaco Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Hunley; her son, Kenny Hunley; and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include:

Sons: Richard Hunley and wife Teresa of Anawalt, George and wife Karen of Leckie, William and wife Tammy of Jenkinjones, daughter in law Shelia of Pageton, and Jerry Hunley of the home.

Daughters: Rebecca Davis and Bo of Jenkinjones, Evelyn Hunley of the home, and Katrina Thompson of the home.

Brothers: Jack Rose and Alex Rose

Sisters: Mary Hunley, Lucy Walsh, and Penny Harmon

8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Rhodena Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Hunley, Jerry Hunley, Josh Hunley, Bobby Davis, Austin Long, Todd Long, Charlie Haynes, and Alex Hunley.
