Nancy Zaborsky

Nancy Sluss Zaborsky, 79, of 182 Duck Pond Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on March 10, 1938 in Pocahontas, VA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert L. and Nora Shumate Sluss. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 30 years. She was a former active member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church where she enjoyed the ladies ministries and various organizations in the church. She was a loving Nannie to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zaborsky; sisters, Mildred Sluss, Jean Strach, Marzie Sluss; brothers, Junior Sluss, Elwood Sluss, Bill Sluss, Bernard Sluss and Jim Sluss.

Left her to cherish her memory are her:

Daughters:          Karen Harold and husband James of Bluefield

                                Cindy Parks and husband Bobby of Bluewell

 

Grandchildren: Jamie Gambill and husband Derick of NC

Joshua Parks and wife Amanda of Bluewell

Michael Parks and wife Michelle of Bluefield, WV

 

3 great grandchildren:    Bryson Gambill, Niko Parks, and Ramona Parks

 

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 12:00 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Woodlawn Mausoleum Chapel at 11:45AM.

 

Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell is serving the family.
