Myrtle Price

Myrtle Maxine Angles Price, 86, of Falls Mills, VA, was born to the late George Stephen and Laura Mae Lawson Angles. Born on December 18, 1933 and entered her heavenly home on February 12, 2020 in Roanoke, VA.

Maxine was a devout Christian and lifelong servant of the Lord. She dedicated her life to God, the love of her Life, James Henry and her 8 children. She has a beautiful heart full of love and humble soul. She enjoyed reading her Bible, singing praises to the Lord, being with her family, and cooking for everyone.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life for forty-nine years, James Henry Price; infant daughter, Karen Sue Price; 3 brothers, James Angles, Joe Calvin “JC” Angles, and Eugene Angles.

Survivors include her sons, James A. (Kathy) Price of Rocky Gap, VA, David Ray (Lynn) Price of Bluefield, VA, Darrell (Patty) Price of Bluefield, WV, Timothy (Anna) Price of Bluefield, WV; daughters, Sharon Price of Falls Mills, VA, Lisa (Frank) White of Asheboro, NC, Lois (Terry) O’Donnell of Nemours, WV, Michele Price (Eddie) Adams of Vinton, VA; sisters, Deborah Bailey of Falls Mills, VA,  and Janice Pugh of Bluefield, WV; brothers, Charles Angles formerly of Bluefield, VA now residing in Salem, VA and Ronald (Jennie) Angles of Bluefield, WV; 29 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The celebration of her life will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Mark Pennington and Rev. Paul Terry Officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
