Myrtle A. O'Donnell

Myrtle A. O’Donnell, 85, of Princeton, entered the gateway of Heaven on Saturday, April 8, 2017.   Born on March 5, 1932 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Verlie and Mary Carter Wimmer of Bozoo and was a resident of Princeton for most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mason, Marvin, Richard, Robert and Ronnie Wimmer.   Survivors include her:   Husband of 65 years:      Richard (Jake) O’Donnell of Princeton   3 Daughters:      Donna Lear and husband James of Wytheville, VA                                 Kathy Beaman and husband David of Princeton                                 Linda Nelson and husband Timmy of Princeton   2 grandchildren:               Richard (Rick) Bennett and Kala Beaman of Princeton   Sisters: Marie Hale and husband Bill of Bluefield                 Margaret Underwood and husband Roy of Bluefield                 Marion Bailey and husband Ronnie of Bluefield                 Brother:               Roger Wimmer and wife Shirley of Bozoo   Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Pete Eden officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.   Friends may call on Monday from 11:00-12:00PM at the funeral home.   Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
