Mrs. Lena Hill White

Mrs. Lena Hill White, 88, of Kingsport, TN, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her home.
Born on January 8, 1930 in Burem, TN, she was a daughter of the late Heiskle and Sue Ola Light Emmert. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hubert F. Hill; an infant daughter; a brother, Eugene Emmert; a sister, Grace Emmert; and 2 infant great-great granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband John R. White and children, Floyd Hill and wife Jan, Karen Meadows and husband James, and Rodney Hill and wife Betty; 8 grandchildren, Melissa Lloyd and husband Mark, Michelle Hopkins and husband Stephen, Todd Meadows, Shannon Hill and Jason Meadows, Amber Hill and husband Jeff, Jonathan Hill and girlfriend Jerri Ann, Ashley Smith and husband James; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1:00-1:30 at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 with Rev. James Milam officiating.
