Miranda Lynn Gentry

Miranda Lynn Gentry, 35, of Crumpler, West Virginia passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Miranda was born on November 04, 1983 in Princeton, West Virginia she is the loving daughter of Kimberly Gentry Able of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Jeffery Joyce also of North Carolina. Miranda had been a resident of Crumpler for the past year and half.

She was preceded in death by an infant son Braylon, Grandfather Lonnie Gentry, grandmother Wanda Joyce and Uncle Chad Joyce.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Devin Woodle, Jr., Lathan Gentry and one daughter Kyra Gentry and the children’s loving father Devin Woodle, Sr all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Two brothers Eric Joyce and wife Kendra of Lexington, North Carolina and Kristopher Joyce of Virginia. Two Sisters Ashley Joyce of Bluewell, West Virginia and Amanda Joyce of Crumpler, West Virginia. Her loving grandmother Joyce Gentry of Crumpler, West Virginia of whom she made her home with. Grandfather Larry Joyce of Crumpler; Uncles Michael Gentry of Princeton, WV, Brian Gentry of Bluewell, WV, Brandon Joyce of Crumpler and Larry Joyce Jr., of North Carolina. One Aunt who held a special place in her heart Laura Gentry Anderson of Crumpler. A very special cousin Kyle Glouer of Crumpler, WV. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 1:00pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Pastor David Neal officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia where friends and relatives will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
