Minnie Christine Perkins

Minnie Christine Perkins, 71, went to be with the lord on December 20, 2021. Christine was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mildred Perkins. She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Perkins. Christine lived her life fully and enjoyed every moment! She loved to play Rummy and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends alike. She loved music and dancing. She also enjoyed planting flowers and watching movies that starred Marc Wahlberg! She will be missed by all! Those left to cherish Christine’s memory are her children, Roger (Hope) Stables, Rock, WV, Tammy (Mike) Lilly, Denver, NC, Terry (Katlyne) Stables, St. Petersburg, FL, Stephanie Walker, Lake Suzy, FL, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind 3 brothers, Tony Perkins, Jimmy Perkins, Jerry Perkins and 2 sisters, Joyce Carver and Rosemary Jimerson. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 14th at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Mac Riggins Officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
