Mildred Allen Stacy, 87, of Princeton, West Virginia formerly of Isaban, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 26, 2018 after complications from a fall.
Mildred was born on August 16, 1931 in McCarr, Kentucky to the late Fred and Vicie Brunty Allen.
Mildred spent her life as a homemaker, wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and loving companion. She loved spending time with her family and friends, meeting everyone for dinner dates, attending church and Bluegrass events.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband, Estel Stacy of 51 years and one sister Lorraine Gates.
Those left to forever cherish her memory is her devoted son and daughter-in-law Donnie and Janice Stacy of Isaban, West Virginia; daughter Mary Margaret Jones and husband Winford of Pulaski, Virginia; four grandchildren Dallas Jones and wife Francine of Pulaski, Virginia, Wesley Stacy of Princeton, West Virginia, Kimberly Rose and husband John of Ikes Fork, West Virginia and Michael Jones and wife Maria of Columbia, Missouri. Six great grandchildren Kristen Rose of Charleston, West Virginia, Cassandra Stacy of Morgantown, West Virginia, Clinton Jones of Lynchburg, Virginia, Logan Stacy of Princeton, West Virginia, Kaela Payne and Laela Jones of Bluewell, West Virginia. One great great grandchild K.J. Payne. One sister Helena Morgan of Charleston, West Virginia, a special niece Lisa Creel and husband James of Charleston, West Virginia and a very special loving companion of 13 years Kenneth Croy of Princeton, West Virginia. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Rick Chester, Rev. Gary Justice and Speaker James Creel officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where grandsons, family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
The Stacy family will be receiving friends and relatives on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
