Marvin Wesley Cochran

Marvin Wesley Cochran, 69, of Bluefield, WV, passed Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his home. 

Born April 16, 1955, in Welch, WV, he was a son to the late Henry James and Frances East Cochran. Marvin was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, WV and was a retired coal miner and carpenter. 

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his sisters, Roxanne Cochran and Phyllis Dennis, and brothers, Thomas and James Cochran. 

Those left to cherish Marvin's memory are his nephew Jamie Cochran and wife Melissa, of the home; brothers, Robert Cochran of Brushfork, WV, and Jackie Cochran of Crumpler, WV; sisters, Joyce Arrington of Northfork, VA, Margaret Craig of Suwanee, GA, Sandra Rodrigues of Bluefield, WV, Jenny Blevins of Bluefield, WV, and Kay Cochran of Vero Beach, FL. 

A visitation will be held, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
