Michael P. Spencer, a coal truck driver & resident of Pageton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4th, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael leaves to cherish his sweet memories, his father, Jessie W. Spencer Jr of Pageton; his wife, Felicia Spencer of the home; his children, Aaron Ashley of Northfork; Zakary Spencer of Lenoir, NC; Michael C Spencer of the home; his sister, Marlene (Ronnie) England of Welch; his brothers, Jessie W Spencer, III (Katherine) of Tobaccoville, NC; Phillip (Lori) Spencer of Wolf Creek, VA; his grandson, Lyric Spencer of Lenoir, NC; 10 nieces & nephews & 3 special great-nieces, Seyona, Hartley & Allie Jo. He is predeceased by his mother, Shirley Ann Spencer.
Michael was born on March 8, 1973, in Welch, WV. He graduated from Mt. View High School in 1991. Michael had a wonderful sense of humor & made everyone around him laugh. Not only was he a devoted family man, he was a loyal friend & was always willing to help others in need. Michael professed his life to Christ & attended New Beginnings House of Worship in Wilco, WV. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family & all who knew him.
