Michael Anthony Davis

Michael Anthony Davis, age 37, of Bluefield, WV died on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV following a long illness. Michael was preceded in death by his biological father, Donald Tyrone Davis, Sr.; two siblings, Tacarra Davis and Donald Tyrone Davis, Jr.

Born in Bluefield, he had graduated from Bluefield High School where he had an outstanding football year in 2005 when he made the made the Kennedy List for the top ten football athletes. He had worked at the GMS Mining Company where he was a Crew Leader. He loved sports and was a Washington Commander and Oregon Duck fan. He loved art, talking with friends, and most of all, spending time with his family. His favorite title was Dad.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV with Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1`:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. The family is accepting online condolences.

Pallbearers are Stedman Keith, Andy Peery, Rusty Coeburn, Josh Dempsey, Harry Hanley, and Bradley Cosby.
