Michael Anthony Coeburn

Michael Anthony Coeburn, 56, of McComas, WV, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home.  Born July 1, 1964 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late James, Sr. and Nellie Lusk Coeburn.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Lewis and Estonia Justice Lusk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Lottie Akers; one brother, James Coeburn, Jr.; nephew, Christopher Mounts; two great-nephews; and sister-in-law, Connie Carver Coeburn.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith and a great man of God and was Foreman for Asplundh Tree Company for 31 years and the last year and a half was Forman for Townsend Tree Company.  He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and working on vehicles. He loved everyone but especially his wife, kids, grand-babies and most of all he loved the Lord. 

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tammy Akers Coeburn of McComas, WV; sons, Brandon Coeburn and girlfriend, Jennifer Prater of McComas, WV, and Jonathan and wife, Tiffany Coeburn of Montcalm, WV; one brother, Mark Coeburn and wife, Donna of McComas, WV; four sisters, Connie Sue and husband, Stewart Odle of McComas, WV, Sandra Kay and husband, Jerry Tiller of McComas, WV, Sherri and husband, Barry Rodgers of Bluefield, WV, and Dianna and husband, James Ball of Bluefield, WV; sister-in-law, Patty Coeburn of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Kaylee Coeburn, India Coeburn, Levi Coeburn, Malachi Coeburn, Kendall Coeburn, Colton Coeburn, Miracle Coeburn, and Madeline Prater; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, February 5, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. David Kirby, Rev. Bobby Koen, and Rev. Jeff Hatfield officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell is serving the Coeburn family.
