Michael Edward Bailey

Michael Edward Bailey, 76, of Princeton, WV, passed Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.

Born September 11, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Earl and Anna Mae Barber Bailey. Michael was a member of the United States National Guard and retired from the coal mines, working as a foreman. He was a resident of Princeton for three years and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Bailey and brother, David Bailey.

Those left to cherish Michael’s memory are his wife, Linda Teresa Bailey; sons, David, Mike, and Allen Bailey; daughters, Mollie and Anna Bailey; brother, Paul Bailey and wife Linda; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call one hour prior to service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
