Melvin Bompus

Melvin Bompus, 54, of Crystal, WV passed away on Saturday, October 06, 2018 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV.
Melvin was born on June 12, 1964 in Welch, WV to the late Pearl Bompus and was a lifelong resident of Crystal, WV. Melvin was a 1983 graduate of Bramwell High School; he was a fun loving guy who lived life to the fullest, never meeting a stranger and always made friends everywhere he went.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandmother Henrietta; three brothers Charlie Bompus, Ronald Bompus and Robert Galloway; two Sisters Kay and Henrietta.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Ebony Moore of N. Wilkesboro, NC; one granddaughter Denver of N. Wilkesboro, NC; one brother Steven and wife Melissa of Hickory, NC; three sisters Janet Jones and husband Willie of N. Wilkesboro, NC; Dreama Anderson of N. Wilkesboro, NC and Anita Hairston and husband Ralph of Maybeury, NC.
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Apostle Donnie Hairston officiating the service.
The Bompus family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
