Melissa Sue Cantrell

Melissa Sue Cantrell, 54, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, October 03, 2019 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia.

Melissa was born on February 07, 1965 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Samuel Raymond Dillon and Helen Lee Hodges Dillon. Melissa was a retired waitress and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia; she had been a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia for the past fifteen years.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Edward Cantrell of the home; two brothers, Jackie Dillon of North Carolina and Sam Dillon of New Castle, Virginia; three sisters, Rosie Moose of North Carolina, Charlene Moose of North Carolina and Fern Hodge of Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 07, 2019 at 1:30pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. David Adams officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

The Cantrell family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 07, 2019 from 12:30pm until 1:30pm at the funeral home.
