Mary Mageline Puckett

Mary Mageline Puckett, 80, of Rock, WV, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Richmond, VA. Born August 17, 1942 in Wyoming County, WV, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara Mosley Harmon. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Murrel W. Neece; second husband, Danny Puckett; son, John Harmon; three brothers, Walt, John, Jr., and Danny Harmon; and sisters, Lois, Caralee, and Beatrice Howerton.

Those left to cherish Mary’s memory are her daughters, Anita Anderson and husband, Mark of Rock, WV, and Barbara Nunn and husband, Tim of Bland, VA; brother, Josh Harmon of Rock, WV; sisters, Edna Wysong of Matoaka, WV, Ethel Puckett of Bluefield, WV, and Gladys Taylor of Bastian, VA;  grandchildren, April Stevenson, Mark Anderson, Jr. and wife, Melanie, Arlen Worrell, Pam Nunn, Mary Nunn, and Shay-Ann Nunn; great-grandchildren, Dean, Natalee, Levi, Jaxon, and Casey.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Philip Buttery.

Friends may call prior to services, from 3-4 PM.

She will be interred at the Anderson-Harmon Cemetery on Browning Lambert Mountain. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Puckett family.
