Mary Elizabeth Owens

Mary Elizabeth Owens, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Princeton Health Care following a long illness.
Born on March 17, 1948 in McDowell County, Mary was the daughter of the late Harry Forrest and Late Eva Forrest-Rose. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Jewel Palmer, Silvia Lawson, and Linda Turpin, and one brother, Warren Forrest.
Left to cherish her memory are her:
Son: Don Owens and wife Melissa of Charleston, WV
Her Half-brothers, Jesse Forrest and wife Carol of Tennessee, and Alonzo Forrest and wife Linda of Princeton WV.
She has one Brother-in-law, Melvin Turpin, of Skygusty, WV.
She has five grandchildren; Steven Owens and wife Jessie and their children Brytan and Beckham of Princeton, WV, Marcus Owens and girlfriend Kayla Robertson of Charleston, WV. Cassidy Owens,Morgan Owens, and Baleigh Owens of Charleston, WV.
Special niece, Melinda Turpin, who looked after all of her affairs during Mary's Illness,
and her very dear friends, Debbie Kleintop, of Princeton, WV, and Lee Taylor, also of Princeton, WV.
She also has a host of nieces and nephews.
Staying with her wishes she will have a graveside service on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her Mother.
The family is being served by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
