Mary Mitchem

Mary Pride Goodloe Mitchem, 65, of Coaldale, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 3, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Wirt Goodloe, Sr and Scharlottie Goodloe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earnie and Junior; and a close family friend, Emma Jean McKinney.

Survivors include her husband, Randall Mitchem of the home; sons, Jerry Church, Jr of Bramwell, Kevin Cochran of Montcalm; a daughter, Roslie Workman of Bramwell; several grandchildren, a brother Thomas (Barbara) Goodloe of Bramwell; and two sisters, Hattie Hood of Coaldale and Dixie (Jim) Nunley of Coaldale.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev.’s Tim and Roger Lacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Goodloe Family Cemetery in Coaldale with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
