Mary Magdalene Fuller

Mary Magdalene Fuller, 96, of Princeton, WV, and formerly of Maybeury, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Princeton Health Care facility in Princeton.

Mary was born on March 19, 1923 in McDowell County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Frances Patterson Witherspoon. She was a resident of Maybeury and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was a retired cook for McDowell County Board of Education and a retired seamstress of the Kimball Sewing Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Fuller; and a son, Leron Dula.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Wilson; special caregivers, Rev. Harold P. Calloway and wife Geraldine of Elkhorn; 2 sisters, Josephine Ross and Mary Quander; brothers, Ted Witherspoon and Roger Witherspoon; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her.

Services will be conducted on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield with Rev. Robert Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
