Mary Thelma Blankenship, 87, of Thomas Jefferson Drive, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her home.
Born on August 2, 1932 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Fannie Hagerman and step-father, Ulyss Hagerman. She had been a resident of Princeton for 25 years and attended the Holiness Church of God. She was a retired self-employed business owner.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Arnold Blankenship; a brother, Hobert Hagerman; and a sister, Dorothy Mullins Campbell.
Survivors include her three sons, Eddie (Debbie) Blankenship of Bluefield, Steve (Pam) Blankenship of Hiram, OH, Michael Blankenship (Vickie) of Princeton, WV; daughters, Sandy (Josh) Viers of Abingdon, VA, Dreama (Kenny) Peaks of Roanoke, VA, Denise (Jimmy) Workman of Abingdon, VA; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Crockett Hagerman (Helga) of Beaufort, SC, and Curtis (Clarice) Hagerman of Leesburg, SC; and a sister Marie Payne of Aiken, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor C.T. Lilly, III officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Eddie, Shawn, and Chad Blankenship, Jamie Payne and Jimmy Lee Workman serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Friday, from 12:00-2:00, prior to services.
