Mary Ellen Wimmer Bailey

Mary Ellen Wimmer Bailey, 70, of Bluefield, WV, was called to heaven by our Heavenly Father on October 21, 2019 at her home in Bluewell, WV.

Born January 24, 1949, in Bluefield, WV, she was the youngest daughter of the late French and Callie Wimmer of Bluefield.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Richard A. Bailey Sr., sisters Violet Conley and Norma Belcher, brothers Bobby Wimmer, Dallas Wimmer, James Wimmer, Herbert Wimmer, and Gilbert “Pete” Wimmer.

Survivors include son, Richard A. Bailey Jr. his wife, Rhonda and their daughters, Allison and Michelle of Cherryville, NC. Son, Jeffrey P. Bailey, his wife Christie and their son, Christian "CJ" of Gloucester, VA. Devoted Sister, Nancy Baker of Bluefield, WV. Brothers Bill Wimmer of Bluefield, WV, Earl Wimmer of Princeton, WV and Roger Wimmer of Hickory, NC as well as many, many wonderful nieces and nephews. At her request there will be no service and her ashes will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery beside her husband.
