Marvin Kenneth Wingate

Marvin Kenneth Wingate, 76, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born on July 16, 1944 in Davy, WV,  he was a son of the late Paul and Emma King Wingate. He was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church and was retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He was a member of Teamsters Union and the Triangle Sportsman Club in Bluefield, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Rose Goins Wingate; and He was also preceded in death by his brother James Wingate of Maryland and sister Janette Brodosi of Rochester, NY.

Survivors include his son, Jason Wingate of Raleigh, NC; 2 brothers, George Wingate of Davy, WV, and Paul Wingate of FL; and sister, Christine Boyd of Davy, WV.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. Melissa White officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00-12:45.
