Martha Jeanette Mullens, 66, of Beartown gained her Angel wings on August 15, 2017 in Morgantown, West Virginia at Ruby Memorial. She was born on July 08, 1951 to the late Lever and Lucille Caves Cecil. Martha loved to read, cook and work puzzle books, take care of her flowers and most of all spoiling all her babies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two infant children Candy and Joseph; one daughter Sabrina Cecil; two sisters Mary Sue Bennett and Donna Ratliff.Left to cherish her memories are her husband of eleven years Ray Dean Christian of Beartown, two sons Charles Mullens of Maryland and Jay Mullens of Beckley; grandchildren Dakota, Abby, Faith, Jessica, Tiffany, Megan, Stephanie and Erica. She is also survived by serval great grandchildren and one sister Vickie Ratliff of Premier, two brothers James Cecil and wife Frances and Billy Cecil and wife Tammy both of Premier. Sister in law Fayetta and James McLntyre of Virginia; Reddy and Garnie Collins of Radford; Linda and Mike Turner of Beartown and Paula of Beartown. Drema and Andy Christian of Beartown, Jerry Ratliff of Premier. Nieces and nephews Jerry and Melissa Ratliff of Sawmill, Kenny Ratliff of Premier, Danny and Mindy Ratliff of Premier, Jimmy Lee and Charlotte Reed of Beartown, Nick Cecil of Premier, Billy Ray and Brandi Cecil of Premier, Brittany, Kimberly and Heather Ratliff of Sawmill; Eli, Colby and Bodie Ratliff of Premier, Val and Bill of Beartown and Alayna of Charleston. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Ark of Safety in Roderfield, WV with Rev. Randall Dority officiating the service. Burial will follow at Christian Family Cemetery in Ritter Hollow with her daughter where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.comCravens-Shires Funeral Home 3431 Coal Heritage Road Bluefield, WV is serving the Mullens family.
