Marilyn Deeb Morgan

Marilyn Rose Deeb Morgan, 74, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Princeton Health Care.

Born on February 12, 1944 in Goodwill, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen Rose.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her four children, George Kamel Deeb and her second husband, Oscar Morgan, Sr.; two brothers, Everett and Scotty Rose; and two sisters, Donna Rose and Goldie Bell.

Those left behind to remember her are three sons, William George (Julie) Deeb of Orange Park, FL, Victor George Deeb of Bristol, VA, and Eric George (Sherry) Deeb of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Christine Deeb-Simon of Davidson, NC; two brothers, Fred (Donetta) Rose of Bluefield, and John (Beckie) Rose of Bluefield; five sisters, Margaret Broyles of Bluewell, Dolly Hambrick of Bluewell, Wanda (Donald) Combs of Lashmeet, Anita (Ed) Myers of Princeton, and Betty (Noel) Phillips of Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; special stepdaughters, Anita and David Jones of Memphis, TN; and caretakers, Erica Lester, Vanessa Thompson, and the staff at Princeton Health Care.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 3:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dewayne Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
