Marie Leola Boerboom

Marie Leola Boerboom, 51, of Knox Street Bluefield, WV passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.
Marie was born on July 28, 1966 in Bluefield, WV to the late Reece T. and Pearlie Mae Carter Riley. She was a member of First Christian Church in Bluefield, WV and had been a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother whom loved her family and her coffee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Thomas “Pete” Neel and one sister Janet Green Riley.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Hendrikus Lambertus “Burger” Boerboom of Bluefield, WV; six children Deborah Tibbs and husband Allen of Springville, VA; Jessica Hunt of Bluefield, WV; Stephanie Boerboom of Bluefield, WV; Lambertus Hendrikus “L.B.” Boerboom and wife Kayla Leann of Bluefield, WV; Kevin Boerboom of Bluefield, WV and Anthony S. Riley of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. Three brothers Reece T. “Bubby” Riley, Jr. and wife Paula of Bluefield, WV; John Riley and wife Melissa of Bluefield, WV and John “Baby John” Riley of Bluefield, WV. Two Sisters Donna Lawson and husband Randy of Princeton, WV and Mary Lee Riley of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 12:00 pm at First Christian Church 2200 Bland Road Bluefield, WV with Pastor Doug McDaniel, Jr. officiating the service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
The Boerboom family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm (Noon).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Maries honor to Cravens-Shires Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
