Margaret Elizabeth “Tish” Beasley, 88, of Elkhorn Station Road, Elkhorn, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her home. Born on October 21, 1929 at Cucumber, she was a daughter of the late E.L. “Tom” and Gladys Black St. Clair. She was born, raised, lived and passed away in McDowell and was proud of her roots. She was a member of the Elkhorn United Methodist Church and was a retired Postmaster and was a member of the Postmaster’s Association. She was on the Tug River Board of Directors and the Beta Sigma Phi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray “Bob” Beasley; and two brothers, Don St. Clair and Paul St. Clair. Survivors include: Sons: Lional Ray (Gloria) Beasley of Elkhorn Thomas Lynn (Margie) Beasley of Gate City, VA John Keith (Jackie) Beasley of Tazewell, VA 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren Brother: Ray Lester (Cathy) St. Clair of Phoenix, AZ Sisters: Virginia “Ginger” Hourihan of AZ Nancy Stueber of AZ Mary Robinson of AZ Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Olen Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
