Maggie Roberts

Maggie Roberts, 74, of Kimball, WV, passed Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. 

Born November 17, 1950, in Iaeger, WV, she was a daughter of the late Osker and Ruby Vanover Meadows. Maggie was a resident of Kimball for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her infant son, Barry Cecil Roberts, Jr.; brother, Dallas Meadows; sister Okie Mae Matney; and father and mother-in-law that she loved dearly, Charlie Elzie and Lecta Roberts. 

Those left to cherish Maggie's memory are, her husband of 57 years, Barry Cecil Roberts; six daughters, Angela Sue (David) Shrewsbury, Teresa Lynn Morgan, Wanda (Donald) Day, Naomi Ann (Doug) Denton, Penny Roberts and fiancé Terry Kennedy, and Kelly (Johnny) Muncy; three sons, Stanley Charles (Molina) Roberts, William Casey (Jessica) Lester, and Donald Ray (Kelli) Roberts; grandchildren, Kimmie (Tori) West, Becky (Biff) Byrd, Travis (Joanna) Day, Dougie (Karli) Denton, Jeremy (Kimberly) Burks, Austin (Megan) Denton, Amber Muncy, Jojo Muncy; 16 great grandchildren who loved their mawmaw dearly; two brothers, Noah (Sharon) Meadows and Richard (Pamela) Meadows; two sisters, Irene (Teddy) Roberts and Linda Roberts; and special sister-in-law, Judy (Dale) Walker. 

A host of nephews and nieces that she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, in Bluewell, WV, at 4:30 PM, with Rev. Nate Bertram officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 3:30-4:30 PM at the funeral home. 

Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV, with Casey Lester, Dougie Denton, Travis Day, JoJo Muncy, Donald Roberts, Austin Denton, Jeremy Burks, and Stanley Roberts serving as pallbearers.
