Madonna Lou Burnette

Madonna Lou Rotenberry Burnette, 69, of Falls Mills, VA, passed, Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.

Born on October 5, 1953, in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Rotenberry and Glenna Akerman.

In addition to her parents, Madonna was preceded in death by her first husband, Wirt Junior Goodloe.

Those left to cherish Madonna’s memory are her husband, Mark Burnette of the home; sons, David Goodloe and wife Virginia of Bluefield, WV, and Charles David Blair and wife Ruby of Herndon, WV; six grandchildren, Kyle and Chris Blair, Bryant and Destany Goodloe, Tori Sisk and husband Zack, and Roman Ferris; five great grandchildren, Cameron Goodloe, Bentlie and Zane Sisk, and Oliver and Naomi Blair; brother, James “Butch” Rotenberry of New York; and lifelong friends, Tim Harrison and Debbie Miller.

In keeping with Madonnna’s wishes, she is to be cremated and no services are to be held.
