Lula Lorene Harvey, 75, of Lorton Lick Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side. Lula was born on September 11, 1942 in McComas, West Virginia to the lra Franklin Kirk and Della Shumate Kirk. She attended the Pine Grove Church of Christ and had been a resident of Bluefield since 1973. Lula was a retired School cook at Montcalm High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wilford Lester Harvey and two sisters Louise East and Edna East. Lula is survived by four children, three sons Richard Harvey and wife Dianna of Bluefield, West Virginia, Frankie Harvey of Bluefield, West Virginia and Jeffery Harvey of Princeton, West Virginia and one daughter Donna Black and husband Larry of Bluefield, West Virginia. Two Brothers Ira Kirk and wife Barbara of Falls Church, Virginia and Roger Dale Kirk and wife Donna of Conway, South Carolina. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Pastor Gary Lamie officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton, West Virginia where grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, September 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home.
